Now’s the time to register your team for
Race to Erase 2009!

The first annual Race to Erase fundraiser will involve teams of four adults driving through Wallaceburg and surrounding area to complete fun-filled challenges.  These challenges are designed to not only be entertaining, but to create awareness and exposure to local businesses and not-for-profit organizations.  Prizes are awarded to individuals and teams that raise the most money, as well as the team that finishes the Race’s challenges in the fastest time.  Check out the list of prizes from Sarnia's last Race!

Proceeds will benefit Goodwill Industries Essex Kent Lambton and its establishment of an attended donation drive-thru centre in Wallaceburg. This donation centre allows Goodwill to receive higher quality goods, while dramatically decreasing processing times and operating costs.  These donated goods get onto the shelves for purchase more quickly, allowing the money obtained from the retail sale to go back into the Goodwill’s employment training and counseling programs.  These programs provide those with employment barriers the job skills and training they need to find and keep work.
